Documents

What are the required documents?

The required documents vary from embassy to embassy, and your visa agent will advise you on the required documents for the type of visa you are applying for.

The bank statement and HR letter must be dated within a maximum of 7 days of the appointment date, while the commercial registration and movements certificate are only valid for 3 months.

Are there specific criteria for a bank statement?

What if I deposited a large amount into my bank account?

If there is no proof of the reason for adding this amount, the embassy will reject your visa application.

Do I need to have a balance on my bank statement when applying to the embassy?

Yes, there must be enough balance to cover your entire trip (€100–€120 per day), excluding hotel and flight expenses.

Can I submit more than one bank statement?

Yes, you can submit more than one bank statement in addition to the bank statement showing your monthly salary/income.

Is it possible to submit a bank statement in a currency other than the currency of the country applying from?

Yes, it is possible to submit a bank statement in a foreign currency.

Can I submit a bank statement in Arabic?

No, ALL pages must be in English and ALL pages must be stamped — not only the first and the last page.

What if my name is in the bank statement in Arabic?

You can ask the bank to change it to English. If they cannot issue it in English, you can write it with your pen and ask the bank to stamp beside the written name.

Is a bank statement from QNB bank accepted?

All bank statements from any banks in Egypt are accepted.

Is the bank statement of Egypt Post accepted?

Yes, a bank statement from Egypt Post is accepted as long as it's in English and stamped.

How can I prove that I have a sponsor for my trip expenses?

By stating this on the visa application form and also submitting the sponsor's documents.

What are the sponsor's documents?

Bank statement, source of income, letter of approval to use the bank account signed by the sponsor, and proof of relationship.

Does having a sponsor for my trip exempt me from submitting my own documents?

No, having a sponsor does not exempt from submitting your own documents, such as a bank statement and source of income.

Can I withdraw my passport for any reason after submitting the documents to the embassy?
